Consequent upon the advice of the Chief Minister, Punjab to the Governor of the Punjab under clause (1) of Article 112 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab stands dissolved on 14 January 2023 at 2210 hours at the expiration of forty-eight hours after the Chief Minister has so advised.
Malik Ahmad Ali Aulakh son of Malik Ameer Muhammad was born on August 1, 1950 at Karor, District Layyah. He graduated in 1971 from Government Degree College, Dera Ismail Khan. An agriculturist, who served as Chairman, Municipal Committee Karor, District Layyah for eight years; as Joint Secretary Aiwan-e-Zaraat Punjab; as President, Anjuman Kashtkaran Punjab; and as Executive Member, Federation of Chamber of Agriculture, Pakistan. He remained Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1988-90, 1990-93, 1997-99 and 2008-13 and functioned as Minister for Agriculture, Cooperatives, Livestock & Dairy Development, Irrigation, Communication & Works, Forestry, Fisheries & Wildlife, Tourism & Resort Development during his last term. He has returned to the Punjab Assembly for the fifth term in General Elections 2018.
