Consequent upon the advice of the Chief Minister, Punjab to the Governor of the Punjab under clause (1) of Article 112 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab stands dissolved on 14 January 2023 at 2210 hours at the expiration of forty-eight hours after the Chief Minister has so advised.
Mr Muhammad Ali Raza Khan Khakwani son of Mr Ghulam Akbar Khan Khakwani was born on May 7, 1979 at Multan and is a graduate from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. A landlord, who has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2018 and is functioning as Chairman, Standing Committee on Revenue, Relief & Consolidation. His father remained Member, Provincial Assembly of West Pakistan during 1965-69; and his uncle, Mr Atta Hussain Khan Khakwani was Member of Provincial Assembly of West Pakistan during 1962-65.
