The Muslim League-N government has always ensured the protection of journalists' rights and interests. Mutual consultation among stakeholders is essential. Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad 

Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan met with representatives of the country's journalism organizations for discussions.

Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan held a meeting with representatives from Pakistan's prominent journalism organizations, including CPNE, PBA, APNS, AMEND, and PFUJ. During the meeting, journalists expressed their concerns regarding the Defamation Bill 2024. Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan directed the delegation to arrange their concerns regarding the bill. The Speaker stated that this bill is different from previous laws that you had objections to. The Muslim League-N government has always prioritized the protection of journalists' rights and interests. Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan emphasized the necessity of mutual consultation among relevant stakeholders. The delegation included Iyaz Khan, Imtanan Shahid, Naveed Kashif, Kazim Khan, Irfan Athar Qazi, Naeem Hanif, Rana Azim, Abbas Naqvi, Liaqat Ansari, and Shahid Chaudhry.
