RESOLUTION
|
After getting suspension of Rules by the House, Mr Mujtaba Shuja Ur Rehman, Minister for Finance & Parliamentary Affairs, moved a resolution that Provincial Assembly of Punjab acknowledges wars are fought with arms but victory is determined by the courage of those who wield them. The House pays tribute to Pakistan Army's sacrifices, their support in maintaining law and order, stabilizing the economy and preventing terrorism, making them a proud institution. The resolution was unanimously adopted by the House. |

صوبائی اسمبلی پنجاب کے اس ایوان کی رائے ہے کہ جنگیں اسلحے کے زور پر لڑی تو جاسکتی ہیں جیتی نہیں جاسکتیں۔ میدان جنگ میں فتح و شکست کے فیصلے اسلحہ نہیں اسلحہ چلانے والوں کے حوصلے کرتے ہیں۔ تاریخ بزدلوں کو نہیں بہادروں کو یاد رکھتی ہے۔ بقول بانی پاکستان قائد اعظم محمد علی جناح: دفاع میں اسلحے کی اہمیت نہیں۔ آپ کے عزم و حوصلے اور استقامت کی ضرورت ہےجو آپ میں بدرجہ اتم موجود ہے۔
صوبائی اسمبلی پنجاب کا یہ ایوان پاکستان کی مسلح افواج کی وطن عزیز کے لئے دی جانے والی خدمات اور مسلسل دی جانے والی قربانیوں پر انہیں شاندار خراج عقیدت پیش کرتا ہے۔ پاک فوج ہمیشہ مشکل وقت میں قوم کی توقعات پر پورا اتری ہے اور اس کے شاہینوں نے ہمیشہ قوم کا سر فخر سے بلندکیا ہے۔ ہماری افواج جذبہ شہادت سے سرشار اور وطن کی خاطر موت کو گلے لگانے کے لئے ہر وقت تیار ہیں۔ یہ ایوان اپنی مسلح افواج پر فخر کا اظہار کرتا ہے اور شہیدوں اور غازیوں کو زبر دست خراج عقیدت اور خراج تحسین پیش کرتا ہے جو اس قوم کے ماتھے کا جھومر ہیں۔
اس ایوان کی رائے ہے کہ پاکستان کی مضبوط مسلح افواج، بری، بحری اور فضائی سرحدوں کی حفاظت کے ساتھ ساتھ ملک کی نظریاتی سرحدوں کی بھی محافظ ہیں۔ مسلح افواج اور اس کے ذیلی اداروں کی خدمات ناقابل فراموش ہیں۔ پاک فوج کی جانب سے وفاقی اور پنجاب حکومت کی معاونت کرتے ہوئے امن و امان کے قیام، حوالہ ہنڈی کے کاروبار کے سد باب ، ملکی معیشت کے استحکام، ڈالر اور دیگر اجناس کی سمگلنگ کی روک تھام، قوم کی حفاظت جیسی خدمات اسے قابل فخر ادارہ بناتی ہیں۔ دہشت گردی کے خلاف اس نے اپنی جانوں کا نذرانہ دے کر پوری قوم کے دل جیت لئے ہیں۔ انہیں کی بدولت پوری قوم رات کو سکون کی نیند سوتی ہے۔ یہ ایوان تمام مسلح افواج کو زبر دست خراج تحسین پیش کرتا ہے۔ ہمارے انھی سر بکف جوانوں کے لیے شاعر نے کہاہے:
مٹی کی محبت میں ہم آشفتہ سروں نے
وہ قرض اتارے جو واجب بھی نہیں تھے
