THE PUNJAB SAAF PANI AUTHORITY BILL 2024 (BILL No. 11 OF 2024)

A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Saaf Pani Authority Bill 2024, as recommended by Standing Committee on Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering, be taken into consideration at once.

A) Consideration and Passage of Bills

THE PUNJAB SAAF PANI AUTHORITY BILL 2024 (BILL No. 11 OF 2024)

· The Punjab Saaf Pani Authority Bill 2024, as recommended by Standing Committee on Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering was taken up. Mr Mujtaba Shuja Ur Rehman, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, moved for consideration of the Bill.

· The Opposition Members moved their amendments in the Bill which were voted out by the Assembly. Thereafter the Bill was passed by the Assembly.

SUSPENSION OF RULES

Mr Mujtaba Shuja Ur Rehman, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, moved separate motions for suspension of rules for immediate consideration of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Punjab Amendment) Bill 2024 and the Punjab Enforcement and Regulation Bill 2024. The motions were carried.

THE CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE (PUNJAB AMENDMENT) BILL 2024

· The Code of Criminal Procedure (Punjab Amendment) Bill 2024, as recommended by Standing Committee on Home was taken up. Mr Mujtaba Shuja Ur Rehman, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, moved for consideration of the Bill.

· Thereafter the Bill was passed by the Assembly.

THE PUNJAB ENFORCEMENT AND REGULATION BILL 2024

· The Punjab Enforcement and Regulation Bill 2024, as recommended by Standing Committee on Services & General Administration was taken up. Mr Mujtaba Shuja Ur Rehman, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, moved for consideration of the Bill.

· Thereafter the Bill was passed by the Assembly.

B) Laying Of Reports

Mr Mujtaba Shuja Ur Rehman, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, laid in the House the following annual reports:
