(a) CONSIDERATION AND PASSAGE OF BILLS
1. THE PUNJAB FOREST (AMENDMENT) BILL 2015 (BILL No. 37 of 2015)
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Forest (Amendment) Bill 2015, as recommended by Standing Committee on Forestry and Fisheries, be taken into consideration at once.
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Forest (Amendment) Bill 2015, be passed.
2. THE PUNJAB TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING AUTHORITY (AMENDMENT) BILL 2015 (BILL No. 43 of 2015)
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Amendment) Bill 2015, as recommended by Standing Committee on Industries, be taken into consideration at once.
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Amendment) Bill 2015, be passed.

Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).
Question Hour
Questions relating to Health Department were asked and Khawaja Imran Nazeer, Parliamentary Secretary for Health answered the questions.
Extension in Time Limit for Laying the Report
On a Motion moved by Qazi Adnan Fareed, the House granted one year extension to the Public Accounts Committee-I for laying its report in respect of “The Reports of Auditor General of Pakistan on the Expenditure of Punjab Government for the year 2012-13”.
Adjournment Motions
Four Adjournment Motions were taken up. The Motion moved by Mr Amjad Ali Javed, regarding burn center Allied Hospital, Faisalabad is still not only non-operational but is in a bad administrative condition and the other Motion moved by Ms. Hina Pervaiz Butt regarding increase in the number of death rates of children suffering from Diphtheria disease in Punjab which has reached to 31, was disposed of. The Motion of Mian Tariq Mehmood regarding holding a press conference in Government College for Women, Dinga, District Gujrat, by its Principal and Deputy Director (Colleges), Higher Education hence indulging in political activities and using the building premises for political reasons, therefore, violating Civil Servants Rules, and the other Motion moved by Mr Amjad Ali Javed, regarding decrease in crop production due to weather changes and salinity, was kept pending.
The Motions were answered by Ch. Nazar Hussain, Parliamentary Secretary for Law & Parliamentary Affairs.

General Discussion on Agriculture and Grievances of Sugarcane Growers
General Discussion continued for the second day on Agriculture and Grievances of Sugarcane Growers. The following members participated in the discussion: Mr. Tariq Mehmood Bajwa, Mr. Muhammad Asif Bajwa, Advocate, Mr. Ehsan Riaz Fatyana, Mr. Muhammad Arshad Malik, Dr. Syed Waseem Akhtar, Sheikh Ala-ud-Din, Makhdoom Syed Muhammad Masood Alam, Mr. Muhammad Siddique Khan, Ms. Nabeela Hakim Ali Khan, Dr. Nausheen Hamid, Ch. Amjad Ali Javaid, Ms. Surriya Naseem and Malik Muhammad Javed Iqbal Awan.

The House offered Fateha on the sad demise of Riaz Shahid, Ex-MPA.
The House was then adjourned till Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 10:00 am.
