Personal Career & Interests

Rana Babar Hussain son of Ch Ali Muhammad was born on August 18, 1973 at Mian Channu. He obtained the degree of MBA in 1996 from Philippines School of Business Administration, Manila, Philippines. A businessman and an agriculturist, who served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2008-13 and has been re-elected for the second consecutive term in bye-elections held on August 22, 2013, as general elections of May 2013 could not be held due to death of one of the candidates. He is functioning as Parliamentary Secretary for Finance. He has travelled to Philippines, Chile, USA, Kenya, Japan and UK. To his credit, he has publication-cum-MBA thesis titled “Comparative Study of Three Leading Car Companies in Philippines (Marketing Strategies)”.
