Questions relating to Housing, Urban Development & Public Health Engineering Department were asked and Malik Nadeem Kamran, Minister for Planning & Development (holding additional charge of Housing, Urban Development & Public Health Engineering) answered the questions.
Call Attention Notice Kept Pending on February 2, 2017
The Call Attention Notice of Mian Tariq Mehmood kept pending on 2 February 2017 regarding dacoity of Rs.20 million worth valuables from super store located at Chan Da Qila Gujranwala, was disposed of.
The Notice was answered by Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs.

Introduction of Bill
Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs introduced before the House “The Punjab Local Government (Amendment) Bill 2017”, which was referred to the Standing Committee on Local Government & Community Development with the direction to submit its report within two months.
Adjournment Motion
The Adjournment Motion moved by Ms. Hina Pervaiz Butt that due to improper maintenance of water filtration plants installed by the Government, people are compelled to drink contaminated water or to buy substandard mineral water, was kept pending till next week.
General Discussion
Resumption of Discussion on the Annual Report of Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) for the year 2012-13
Sheikh Allauddlin, Minister for Industries, Commerce & Investment concluded the discussion on Annual Report of Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) for the year 2012-13. Rana Muhammad Arshad and Mr. Muhammad Waheed Gull participated in the discussion.
Zero Hour
The Motion moved by Dr. Farzana Nazir regarding directions given by the Chairman Shaikh Zayed Graduate Institute via notification to the students of MD&MS I & II to appear in examination held by University of Health Sciences notwithstanding that the students were registered with University of the Punjab and had already appeared in its examination, was kept pending.
Suspension of Rules:-
On a motion moved by Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs under Rule 234 of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997, the House granted leave to suspend Rule 115 and others of the Rules ibid, for taking up the following Resolution on Kashmir:
Resolution
Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs moved a Resolution showing solidarity with their Kashmiri brethren and extended them full political and moral support to achieve their right of self-determination in terms of the United Nations Security Council resolution. The House urged the world community to press India to stop atrocities in held Kashmir, withdraw their military troops and immediately hold plebiscite in the valley as per United Nations resolution. The House also prayed for the martyrs who lost their lives for freedom Kashmir struggle, was unanimously passed by the House.
The House was then adjourned at 06:12 p.m. to meet on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
