Question Hour
Questions relating to Schools Education Department were asked and Ms. Joyce Rofin Julius, Parliamentary Secretary for Schools Education answered the questions.
Privilege Motion
The Privilege Motion moved by Syed Muhammad Mahfooz Mashahdi regarding the DCO, Mandi Bahauddin who kept waiting for long four hours members of the Provincial Assembly including the member concerned in his office despite confirmation by the officer that he is reaching his office within 30 minutes to meet the members, was kept pending till Monday.
Adjournment Motions
Five Adjournment Motions were taken up. The Motion moved by Ms. Khadija Umar regarding violation of one dish policy for marriage functions at Safdrabad, Sheikhupura, which is in contradiction to the Punjab Marriage Functions Act 2016, the Motion moved by Mr. Ahmad Shah Khagga regarding problems being faced by the Education Department employees due to the establishment of School Education Authority, the Motion moved by Ms. Saadia Sohail Rana regarding preparation and sale of dry milk made by whey powder even increase in its excise duty up to 125% by the Federal Government, the Motion moved by Ms. Shunila Ruth regarding usage of artificial sweetener injections in fresh fruits and other sweet products to enhance of their sweetness, injurious to health by the mafia, were kept pending till next week and the last Motion moved by Mian Mehmood ur Rashid regarding writing off loans of about Rs.1.5 billion, including writing off loan of brother of Mr. Muhammad Pervaiz Malik by the management of Bank of Punjab, was disposed of after its reply by Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs.
