CONSIDERATION AND PASSAGE OF BILLS
1. THE PUNJAB FOREST (AMENDMENT) BILL 2015 (BILL No. 37 of 2015)
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Forest (Amendment) Bill 2015, as recommended by Standing Committee on Forestry and Fisheries, be taken into consideration at once.
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Forest (Amendment) Bill 2015, be passed.
2. THE PUNJAB PROCUREMENT REGULATORY AUTHORITY (AMENDMENT) BILL 2015 (BILL No. 7 of 2016)
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (Amendment) Bill 2015, as recommended by Standing Committee on Services & General Administration, be taken into consideration at once.
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (Amendment) Bill 2015, be passed.
3. THE PUNJAB PROTECTION OF WOMEN AGAINST VIOLENCE BILL 2015 (BILL No. 31 of 2015)
A MINISTER to move that a special order be made under rule 225(2) of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997, for continuance of the Punjab Protection of Women against Violence Bill 2015.
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Protection of Women against Violence Bill 2015, as recommended by Standing Committee on Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal, be taken into consideration at once.
A MINISTER to move that the Punjab Protection of Women against Violence Bill 2015, be passed.

Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).
Question Hour
Questions relating to Industries and Agriculture Departments were asked and Ch. Muhammad Shafique, Minister for Industries answered the questions and questions relating to Agriculture Department were kept pending on the request of the concerned Minister.
Adjournment Motions
Six Adjournment Motions were taken up. The Motion moved by Ms. Khadija Umar regarding wastage of very expensive Polio Vaccines (IPV) donated by international firm due to negligence of field staff of Expanded Programme on Immunization, the second Motion moved by Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed regarding death of nineteen children within forty eight hours due to the shortage of medical facilities especially ventilators in Children Hospital, the third Motion moved by Ms. Naheed Naeem regarding sale of life saving medicines at higher rates due to their shortage in Gujranwala in connivance with corrupt employees of health department Gujranwala, the Motion moved by Ms. Shunila Ruth that patients have to face severe cold weather changes in government hospitals due to broken glasses of doors etc., and non-provision of facilities including heaters, blankets etc., moreover senior doctors are not available in emergencies and ICUs, the Motion moved by Mian Muhammad Aslam Iqbal that if proper measures are not taken, wastage of water will result in shortage of clean drinking water for the residents of Lahore and the Motion moved by Ch. Amjad Ali Javaid regarding sale of narcotics in educational institutions in District Faisalabad and Members of Provincial and National Assemblies demanded to take stern action against drug pushers, were kept pending with the direction that the Parliamentary Secretaries of the concerned departments will reply the motions.

Consideration and Passage of Bills
Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs moved the following Bills which were passed by the House:
1. THE PUNJAB FOREST (AMENDMENT) BILL 2015 (BILL No. 37 of 2015);
2. THE PUNJAB PROCUREMENT REGULATORY AUTHORITY (AMENDMENT) BILL 2015 (BILL No. 7 of 2016); and
3. THE PUNJAB PROTECTION OF WOMEN AGAINST VIOLENCE BILL 2015 (BILL No. 31 of 2015).
The House was then adjourned till Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 10:00 am.
