(a) RESOLUTIONS UNDER ARTICLE 128(2)(a) OF THE CONSTITUTION
1. MOTION UNDER RULE 127 OF THE RULES OF PROCEDURE OF PROVINCIAL ASSEMBLY OF THE PUNJAB, 1997.
A MINISTER to move that leave be granted to move a Resolution under Article 128(2)(a) of the Constitution for extension of the Punjab Safe Cities Authority Ordinance 2015.
A MINISTER to move the following Resolution:-
RESOLUTION
“The Provincial Assembly of the Punjab extends the period of the Punjab Safe Cities Authority Ordinance 2015 (XVI of 2015), promulgated on 7th July 2015, for a further period of ninety days with effect from 5 October 2015.”
2. MOTION UNDER RULE 127 OF THE RULES OF PROCEDURE OF PROVINCIAL ASSEMBLY OF THE PUNJAB, 1997.
A MINISTER to move that leave be granted to move a Resolution under Article 128(2)(a) of the Constitution for extension of the Punjab Forest (Amendment) Ordinance 2015.
A MINISTER to move the following Resolution:-
RESOLUTION
“The Provincial Assembly of the Punjab extends the period of the Punjab Forest (Amendment) Ordinance 2015 (XVIII of 2015), promulgated on 17th July 2015, for a further period of ninety days with effect from 15 October 2015.”
(b) LAYING OF REPORTS
1. SPECIAL AUDIT REPORT BY THE AUDITOR-GENERAL OF PAKISTAN ON THE ACCOUNTS OF SARGODHA IMPROVEMENT TRUST, HOUSING, URBAN DEVELOPMENT & PUBLIC HEALTH ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB FOR THE YEAR 2009-2010
A MINISTER to lay the Special Audit Report by the Auditor-General of Pakistan on the Accounts of Sargodha Improvement Trust, Housing, Urban Development & Public Health Engineering Department, Government of the Punjab for the year 2009-2010.
2. AUDIT REPORT ON WIDENING / IMPROVEMENT OF ROAD FROM BUNGA HAYAT-PAKPATTAN-ARIFWALA, COMMUNICATION & WORKS DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB FOR AUDIT YEAR 2011-12
A MINISTER to lay the Audit Report on Widening / Improvement of Road from Bunga Hayat-Pakpattan-Arifwala, Communication & Works Department, Government of the Punjab for audit year 2011-12.

Sardar Sher Ali Gorchani, Acting Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).
Question Hour
Questions relating to Schools Education Department were asked and Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Minister for Education answered the questions.
Adjournment Motion
The Adjournment Motion moved by Mr Tariq Mehmood Bajwa regarding arrest of two butchers and confiscation of 200 Kg dead animals’ meat by Livestock Team and alleged that police arrest law breakers who sell sub-standard meat at exorbitant price and due to non-availability of proper legislation culprits are successful to get bail and are released from jails and indulge themselves in the same activities, was disposed of.
The Motion was answered by Ch. Nazar Hussain, Parliamentary Secretary for Law & Parliamentary Affairs.

Resolutions under Article 128(2)(a) of the Constitution
MOTIONS UNDER RULE 127 OF THE RULES OF PROCEDURE OF PROVINCIAL ASSEMBLY OF THE PUNJAB, 1997
The House granted leave on Motions moved by Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs to move Resolutions under Article 128(2)(a) of the Constitution for extension of ‘the Punjab Safe Cities Authority Ordinance 2015” and “the Punjab Forest (Amendment) Ordinance 2015”.
Resolutions
Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs moved the following Resolutions which were passed by the House that:-
(a) The Provincial Assembly of the Punjab extends the period of the Punjab Safe Cities Authority Ordinance 2015 (XVI of 2015), promulgated on 7th July 2015, for a further period of ninety days with effect from 5 October 2015”
(b) The Provincial Assembly of the Punjab extends the period of the Punjab Forest (Amendment) Ordinance 2015 (XVIII of 2015), promulgated on 17th July 2015, for a further period of ninety days with effect from 15 October 2015”.
Laying of Reports
Rana Sana Ullah Khan, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs laid the following reports before the House which were referred to the Public Accounts Committee-II with the direction to submit its reports within one year.

Suspension of Rules:-
The House granted leave to suspend Rule 115 and others of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, 1997, on a motion moved by Mian Mehmood-ur-Rashid, Leader of the Opposition, under Rule 234 of the Rules ibid, for taking up the Resolution against unjustified surge in the gas tariff which will further increase price hike and demanded the federal government to withdraw the same, was rejected by the House.
The House was then adjourned till Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 10:00 am.
