His father was Member, Punjab Assembly during 1988- 90, 1990-93 and 1997-99 and functioned as Parliamentary Secretary for Colonies, Livestock & Dairy Development 1997-99; and as Member, National Assembly during 2008-13 and is a sitting MNA; and his grandfather, Haji Jind Wadda Khan remained Member, Punjab Assembly during 1985-88. His greatgrandfather, Mr Nur Muhammad Khan was Member, Punjab Assembly during 1972-77.
