MALIK NADEEM KAMRAN, MPA

Malik Nadeem Kamran, son of Malik Ata Muhammad, was born on August 3, 1953 in Sahiwal; is a graduate; and, businessman. He had been serving as President, Students' Union Government College Sahiwal during 1973-74; Councillor Muncipal Committee Sahiwal; and, General Secretary Anjuman Tajiran (Central) Sahiwal during 1986-91. He is, for the present, office holder of a number of organizations and institutions; viz., Presedent Pakistan Muslim League Labour Wing Sahiwal, Joint Secretary Pakistan Muslim League District Sahiwal, member Chamber of Commerce Sahiwal, member-Excutive District Sports Committee and Anjuman-e-Hilal-Ahmer Sahiwal. He has been elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in 1997. He has been elected as Chairman Standing Committee on Home Affairs.

MR MUHAMMAD ARSHAD KHAN LODHI, MPA

PP-182 (Sahiwal): PML(N) 

Mr Muhammad Arshad Khan Lodhi, son of Mr Irshad Hussain Khan Lodhi, was born on October 1, 1937; and, obtained LL.B. degree from Punjab University Law College Lahore. A lawyer and agriculturist, who served as Chairman Union Council Harappa from 1968 to 1970; and, member District Council Sahiwal from 1979 to 1987. He had been member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1970-77, 1985-88, 1988-90 and 1990-93; and has been re-elected for the sixth term, in 1997. He also served as Parliamentary Secretary (1985 -86), Minister for Colonies (1986-87), and Minister for Revenue (1988-93). Presently, he holds the portfolio of Minister (Ceased to hold office of Minister upon proclamation of Emergency dated 12-10-99) for Industries and Mineral Development, with additional charge Planning & Development.

MALIK JALAL-UD-DIN DHAKKU, MPA

Malik Jalal-ud-Din Dhakku, son of Malik Ahmad Ali Dhakku, was born on October 6, 1934 at Chak 112/9-L Budh Dhakku, District Sahiwal; and, is a graduate. An agriculturist, who had been serving as Chairman Union Council for ten years; member District Council Sahiwal for eight years; and, member Divisional Council Multan for four years. He remained member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1985-88, 1988-90 and 1990-93; and, has been re-elected, for the fourth term, in 1997.

MR SAEED AHMED CHAUDHRY, MPA

Mr Saeed Ahmed Chaudhry, son of Chaudhry Noor Alam, was born on October 1, 1948 at Chak 96/12-L, Tehsil Chichawatni, District Sahiwal; and, obtained the degree of B.Sc.(Textile Technology) in 1969. An agriculturist, who remained member Union Council 96/12-L for four years (1979-83); and, member Distrit Council Sahiwal for six years (1983-87 & 1991-93). He served as member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from 1985 to 1988, from 1988 to 1990; and, has been elected, for the third term, in 1997. He has been elected as Chairman Standing Committee on Revenue.

RAI HASSAN NAWAZ KHAN, MPA

PP-185 (Sahiwal): PML(N) 

Rai Hassan Nawaz Khan, son of Rai Muhammad Iqbal (former MPA), was born on November 1, 1961 at Chichawatni, District Sahiwal; and, is a graduate. An agriculturist and businessman, who remained Chairman Municipal Committee Chichawatni. He served as member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab and Advisor to the Chief Minister from 1988 to 1990 and 1990 to 1993; and, has been elected, for the third term, in 1997. His brother, Ali Nawaz Khan remained MPA during 1985-88; and, his another brother Rai Ahmad Nawaz Khan, has been serving as an MNA since 1985.

PIR AHMED SHAH KHAGGA, MPA

Pir Ahmed Shah Khagga, son of Pir Mehr Ali Shah Khagga, was born in 1927 at Noor Shah, Sahiwal; and, is an Intermediate. An agriculturist, who had been serving as Chairman Union Council Noor Shah, and member District Council Sahiwal. He was first elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in 1977; was re-elected in 1985; and has returned, for the third term, in 1997. He has been elected as Chairman Standing Committee on Auqaf.
