Sahibzada Mian Saeed Sharaqpuri, son of Pir-e-Tarikat Hazrat Mian Jamil Ahmad Sharaqpuri, was born on April 3, 1960 at Sharaqpur Sharif; is an intermediate; and, an ardent religious preacher and reformer. An agriculturist, who was first elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in 1993; and, has been re-elected in 1997. His grandfather Hazrat Mian Sher Muhammad Sharaqpuri was a famous saint of his times.
