SYED MUHAMMAD ARIF HUSSAIN BOKHARI, MPA

PP-79 (Hafizabad): PML(N)

Syed Muhammad Arif Hussain Bokhari, son of Pir Syed Muhammad Shah Bokhari, was born on June 1, 1949, at Hafizabad; and, obtained Sanad of Dars-e-Nizami (equivalent to M.A. Islamiat) from Jamia Mehria, District Bahawalnagar. An agriculturist and religious scholar, who joined Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Pakistan, and held important offices of the Party at District, Divisional and Central levels. Besides India, he visited Saudi Arabia as member of official Haj delegation; and Norway, in connection with the Pakistan Day Celebrations at Oslo in 1996. He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab first in 1993; and, has been re-elected in 1997. He is Parliamentary Secretary (Ceased to hold office of Parliamentary Secretary upon proclamation of Emergency dated 12-10-99) for Education since October 13, 1997.

CH SARFRAZ KHAN BHATTI, MPA

Chaudhry Sarfraz Khan Bhatti, son of Chaudhry Sohaway Khan, was born in 1949 at Village Tavailaiwali, Sukheki Mandi, Hafizabad; and, is a graduate. An agriculturist, who launched his political career as Councillor. He served as Chairman, Ushr and Zakat Committee in 1979; and, has been elected to the Provincial Assembly in 1997. He has been elected as Chairman Standing Committee on Livestock and Dairy Development.

MIAN INTISAR HUSSAIN BHATTI, MPA

PP-81 (Hafizabad): PML(N)

Mian Intisar Hussain Bhatti, son of Mian Muhammad Jahangir Khan Bhatti (former MPA), was born on May 12, 1957 at Pindi Bhattian; and, is an Intermediate. An agriculturist, who was first elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in the bye- election in 1986. Since then, he has continuously been serving as such, having been elected, for the fifth consective term, in 1997. He also served as member Public Accounts Committee of the Assembly from 1993-96; and, as Parliamentary Secretary for Revenue and Irrigation Departments in 1988 and 1990. He visited Iran in 1989 to participate in the seminar on research on Islamic Revolution.
