Mr Abdul Rashid Bhatti, son of Mr Muhammad Bashir Bhatti, was born on September 11, 1958 in Lahore. He obtained the degree of M.Sc. (Geology) in 1979 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. An agriculturist, who served as Councillor, Zila Council, Lahore during 1991-93; as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1993-96, and has returned again to Punjab Assembly in General Elections 2002.
