Engineer Shazad Ellahi son of Mr Lewis William was born on September 1, 1965 in Lahore. He obtained the degree of B.Sc. (Mechanical Engineering) in 1995 from University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore. A mechanical engineer, who served as General Councillor Union Council No.18, Lahore during 2001-02; has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002 against one of the eight seats reserved for non-muslim minorities, and has been elected Chairman, Standing Committee on Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering on August 28, 2003.
