Ch Mumtaz Ali son of Chaudhry Abdul Rasheed was born on August 15, 1973. He graduated in 1993 from F.C.College, Lahore. A businessman, who has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002, and is functioning as Chairman, Standing Committee on Cooperatives since August 21, 2003. His brother, Chaudhry Sadaqat Ali, served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab for three terms during 1985-88, 1988-90, 1993-96 and also functioned as Advisor to Chief Minister, Punjab.
