Mian Khadim Hussain Wattoo alias Mr Muhammad Akhtar Khadim son of Mian Nazar Muhammad was born in 1950 at Minchinabad. He graduated in 1972 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. An agriculturist, who served as Member, District Council Bahawalnagar during 1983; and as Chairman, District Council, Bahawalnagar during 1987. He remained Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1985-88, 1988-90 and 1990-93; and also served as Parliamentary Secretary LG&RD, Agriculture and P&D Departments. He has returned to Punjab Assembly for the fourth term in General Elections 2002; and is functioning as Minister for Zakat & Ushr since January 4, 2003. His father served as Member Provincial Assembly of West Pakistan during 1965-69.
