Mrs Farida Rafique Sulehri wife of Mr Muhammad Rafique Sulehri was born on November 14, 1960 in Lahore. She graduated in 1987 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. She is the President of an NGO named WSSO. She has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002 against one of the seats reserved for women, and is functioning as Chairperson, Standing Committee on Environment Protection since August 13, 2003. Her brother-in-law, Mr Arshad Imran Sulehri served as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1993-96 and 1997-99.
