Begum Zeenat Khan, wife of Khan Siraj-ud-Din Khan, Advocate, was born on January 1, 1954. She obtained the degree of M.A.(Political Science) in 1975 from Karachi University. She served as Councillor, Municipal Committee, Dera Ghazi Khan during 1983-85; Member, District Khidmat Committee, Dera Ghazi Khan; Member, District Education Advisory Committee, Dera Ghazi Khan; and as Member, Chief Minister’s Complaint Cell. She has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002 against one of the seats reserved for women; and is serving as Parliamentary Secretary for Women Development since August 5, 2003.
