Personal Career & Interests

Malik Muhammad Ajmal Joiya, son of Malik Shah Nawaz Joiya, was born on September 5, 1953 at Kahror Pacca, District Lodhran. He graduated in 1974 from Bosan Road College, Multan. An agriculturist, who served as Member, Municipal Committee, Kahror Pacca during 1998-99. He has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002 and functioning as Parliamentary Secretary for Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI) since May 17, 2004. His brother, Major (Retd) Muhammad Aslam Khan Joiya, was Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1997-99; his cousin Malik Sajjad Joiya was Member, Punjab Assembly during 198890, 1990-93 and 1993-96; and his uncle, Malik Shah Muhammad Khan, was Member, Punjab Assembly during 1977 and 1985-88.
