Personal Career & Interests

Rana Shamshad Ahmad Khan son of Mr Abdul Wakeel Khan was born on May 5, 1965, and graduated in 1987. An agriculturist, who served as Administrator, Market Committee, Kamoke and as Chairman, Municipal Committee, Kamoke during 1992-93 and as Tehsil Nazim, Kamoke during 2001-2002. He remained Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1992-93 and 1997-99. He has returned to Punjab Assembly for the third term as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002. He worked as Minister for Transport from January 4, 2003 to November 30, 2006. He is functioning as Minister for Excise and Taxation since December 1, 2006. His father served as Member Punjab Assembly during 1988-90 and 1990-92. His brother-in-law, Chaudhry Bilal Ejaz, is a sitting Member of National Assembly.
