Personal Career & Interests

Mr Aamer Hayat Khan Rokhri son of Khan Amir Abdullah Khan Rokhri was born on August 12, 1956 at Mianwali. He graduated in 1978 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. A businessman, who has been functioning as President, Lahore City Cricket Association since 1985 and as Secretary General, Pakistan Badminton Federation since 2002. He participated in International Conferences held in Thailand and Sri Lanka in 2002. He served as Member National Assembly during 1986-88 and as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1990-93. He has returned for the second term to Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in bye-elections 2003 against the seat vacated by Mr Gul Hameed Khan Rokhri, who had won the General Elections 2002 from two constituencies (PP-44 and PP-45). His father served as Senator during 1985-1997, as Member National Assembly during 1977 and as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1972-77. His first cousin, Mr Gul Hameed Khan Rokhri is a sitting Member of Punjab Assembly (PP-45).
