Mrs Baasima Chaudhry wife of Mr Naveed Bilal Chaudhry and daughter of Mr Riaz Chaudhry was born on March 5, 1977 in Chicago, USA. After completing her B.Sc. in Management Marketing in 1998, she obtained the degree of Master of Computer Science from DePaul University, Illinois, Chicago, USA in 2001. A business person who has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in bye-election 2005 against the seat vacated by her father who resigned from the membership of the Assembly having been elected District Nazim, Mandi Baha-ud-Din. She belongs to a famous political family. Her great grandfather Ch Ghulam Muhammad was Member, Punjab Legislative Council during 1921-23 and 1924-26; her grandfather Ch Zahoor Elahi served as Member, National Assembly during 1962-67, her grandfather Ch Faiz Ahmed was member Punjab Assembly during 1985-88 and her father was Member Punjab Assembly during 2002-05.
