Mr Arif Mehmood Gill son of Ch Mazhar Ali Gill was born on February 20, 1973 at Sumandri. He graduated in 2002 from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. He served as Member, District Council Faisalabad during 1997-99; and as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07, 2013-18 and functioned as Chairman, Standing Committee on Transport. An agriculturist, who has returned to the Punjab Assembly for the third term in general elections 2024. His father served as Member Punjab Assembly for four terms during 1985-88, 1988-90, 1990-93 and 1997-99 and also functioned as Parliamentary Secretary for Industries & Minerals during 1990-93 and for Labour during 1997-99.
