Ms Zahara Batool daughter of Mr Khalil Ahmed Shah was born on August 17, 1955 at Tehsil Jatoi. A house wife, who has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in bye-elections held on October 14, 2018 against the seat vacated by her son Makhdoom Zada Syed Basit Ahmad Sultan, who had won both National and Provincial seats and had opted for NA seat. Her husband, Mr Abdullah Shah Bukhari remained Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1977, 1988-90, 1993-96 and 1997-99. Her son, Mr Basit Bukhari was Member of Punjab Assembly during 1997-99, 2010-13; Member of National Assembly during 2002-07 and is a sitting MNA; her another son, Mr Haroon Sultan Bukhari served as Member Punjab Assembly during 2002-07 (functioned as Minister for Livestock & Dairy Development), 2008-13 and 2013-18 (functioned as Minister for Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal, Auqaf & Religious Affairs during 2013-16, Housing, Urban Development & Public Health Engineering during 2016-18; and her daughter Ms. Maria Batool remained Tehsil Nazim. Her brother, Mr Jamil Ahmad Hussain Bukhari remained Member National Assembly during 1997-99.
