Consequent upon the advice of the Chief Minister, Punjab to the Governor of the Punjab under clause (1) of Article 112 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab stands dissolved on 14 January 2023 at 2210 hours at the expiration of forty-eight hours after the Chief Minister has so advised.

Personal Career & Interests

Syeda Farah Azmi daughter of Sahibzada Syed Munir Azmi was born on October 23, 1969 at Sialkot.  She obtained the degree of M.A (History) in 2001 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. She remained Member Tehsil Council during 2000-05. A social worker, who has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2018 against one of the seats reserved for women and is serving as Member, Syndicate Government College Women University, Sialkot. She has been serving as Chairperson, Roshini Welfare Organization since 2003.
