Consequent upon the advice of the Chief Minister, Punjab to the Governor of the Punjab under clause (1) of Article 112 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab stands dissolved on 14 January 2023 at 2210 hours at the expiration of forty-eight hours after the Chief Minister has so advised.

Ms Aysha Iqbal wife of Mr Muhammad Iqbal was born on September 9, 1961 in Lahore. She obtained the degree of B.Sc in 1982 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. A house wife, who has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2018 against one of the seats reserved for women. She is a social activist and a philanthropist who is managing educational & health expenses of more than 1000 families on her own. She aims to do extensive work for quality education of children on massive scale. She has travelled to USA, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar.
