Consequent upon the advice of the Chief Minister, Punjab to the Governor of the Punjab under clause (1) of Article 112 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab stands dissolved on 14 January 2023 at 2210 hours at the expiration of forty-eight hours after the Chief Minister has so advised.

Personal Career & Interests

Sardar Usman Ahmed Khan Buzdar son of Sardar Fateh Muhammad Khan Buzdar was born on May 1, 1969 at Barthi. He passed matriculation exam from Government High School Barthi; Intermediate and graduation from Government Emberson College, Multan. He obtained the degree of M.A (Political Science) from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan; and that of LL.B. from Multan Law College, Multan. Sardar Usman Buzdar has been Member of District Bar Association, Multan. An Advocate and a landlord, who served as District Tehsil Nazim, Tribal areas; and as Member, District Council Dera Ghazi Khan. He has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2018 and has served as Chief Minister Punjab 2018-22. He has been nominated as the Chief/tumandar of Buzdar Tribes, Tribal Area and Balochistan after the death of his father. His father Sardar Fateh Muhammad Khan (Late) remained Member, Federal Council, Majlis-e-Shoora during 1983-84; as Member, District Council, Dera Ghazi Khan; as Member, Punjab Assembly during 1985-88, 2002-07, 2008-13 and functioned as Chairman, Standing Committee on Religious Affairs & Auqaf during 2003-07.
