Consequent upon the advice of the Chief Minister, Punjab to the Governor of the Punjab under clause (1) of Article 112 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab stands dissolved on 14 January 2023 at 2210 hours at the expiration of forty-eight hours after the Chief Minister has so advised.
Mr Naveed Aslam Khan Lodhi son of Mr Muhammad Aslam Khan Lodhi was born on December 25, 1974 in Lahore. He graduated in 1993 from Government College, Lahore and obtained the degree of LL.B. from Punjab Law College, Lahore. An advocate, who remained District Chairman, Zakat & Ushr Sahiwal during 2002-05; Nazim and Chairman Union Council Harappa District Council Sahiwal during 2005-09 and 2015-18 respectively. He has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2018. His uncle/father-in-law, Mr Muhammad Arshad Khan Lodhi remained Member Punjab Assembly during 1972-77, 1985-88, 1988-90, 1990-93, 1997-99, 2002-07, 2013-18 and has also served as Parliamentary Secretary, as well as Minister holding various portfolios including Colonies, Revenue, Relief, Industries, Mineral Development, Transport, Agriculture, Livestock & Dairy Development, Consolidation and Planning & Development Departments. His father remained Chairman, District Council Sahiwal during 1997-99.
