Mian Manazir Hussain Ranjha son of Mian Muzaffar Ali Ranjha was born on August 15, 1954 at Village Haveli Mian Sher Ali Sargodha. He obtained the degree of LL.B. in 1978 from University of the Punjab, Lahore and served as an advocate for two years at District Court, Sargodha. An agriculturist, who served as Member, Zila Council, Sargodha for two consecutive terms during 1979-87. He remained Member, Punjab Assembly during 1985-88, 1990-93, 1993-96, 2002-07 and 2013-18; functioned as Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly during 1985-88 and again during 1990-93; as Acting Speaker, Punjab Assembly; as Member, PAC; as Minister for Health and Revenue during 1993; as Chairman, Committee on Privileges during 1993-96; and as Minister for Colonies during 2003-07. He participated as representative of Punjab Assembly in Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Conference held in 1992 in Trinidad, Tobago. He has been elected for the sixth term as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2018.
