Mr Yasir Zafar Sandhu son of Ch Zafar Iqbal Sandhu was born on October 21, 1978 at Sargodha. He obtained the degree of LL.B in 2004 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. A lawyer, who remained Member of Punjab Assembly in 2018 elected in bye-elections against the seat vacated by his deceased brother Ch Tahir Ahmed Sandhu and has returned to the Punjab Assembly for the second consecutive term in General Elections 2018. His cousins, Chaudhary Fakhar Iqbal Sandhu and Chaudhary Zahid Iqbal Sandhu were also Members of Punjab Assembly during 2002-03 and 2003-07 respectively; and his another cousin, Ch Tahir Ahmed Sandhu remained Members of Punjab Assembly during 2008-13 and 2013-18.
