Sardar Qaisar Abbas Khan Magsi son of Sardar Lal Hussain Khan Magsi was born on May 15, 1965 at Nawan Kot, Tehsil Chaubara, District Layyah. He graduated from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. An agriculturist, who served twice as Tehsil Nazim, Chaubara during 2001-07. He remained Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2008-13 and functioned as Chairman, Standing Committee on Home Affairs during 2009-12 and as Parliamentary Secretary for Revenue during 2012-13. He has returned to Punjab Assembly for the second consecutive term in general elections 2013 and is serving as Chairman, Standing Committee on Transport. He has travelled to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia and UAE.
