Mrs Joyce Rufin Julius remained a Member of Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07 and also functioned as Minister for Minorities’ Affairs during 2003-07. She has returned to Punjab Assembly for the second term in general elections 2008 against one of the seats reserved for non-muslim minorities.
