Ms Nighat Sheikh graduated in 1994 from Government APWA College, Lahore and obtained the degree of B.Ed. in 1999 from Government College of Education, Lahore. She served as General Councillor, UC No.76, Lahore during 2001-05 and during 2005-06 and as District Member, District Council Lahore during 2006-08. A social worker, who has become the Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in 2008 against the reserved seat for women
