Personal Career & Interests

Engineer Javed Akbar Dhillon son of Mr Akbar Ali Dhillon was born on December 1, 1962 at Rahim Yar Khan. He belongs to a respectable and well-reputed Dhillon family of Rahim Yar Khan. He obtained the degree of B.Sc. (Engineering) in 1991 from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. A businessman and a landlord who has a very sound educational and family background with the character based on morality and ethicalness, he had been elected as Member, Tehsil Council during 2001-02. With the sincere and seasoned affiliation with his party, he became the member of Punjab Assembly in 2002. Being steadfast and loyal to the spirit of his party, he has again been elected as an MPA for second term consecutively in 2008. His vision broadened when he visited USA, UK and Canada with the parliamentary delegation in 2005. He has also visited Saudi Arabia. He remained Parliamentary Secretary for Population Welfare from 31January 2009 to 26 February 2011.
