Ms Afshaan Farooq daughter of Mian Muhammad Farooq was born at Faisalabad. She graduated in 1992 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. She served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07 and has returned to the Punjab Assembly in general elections 2008 against one of the seats reserved for women. Her father served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1985-88, 1988-90, 1990-93 and 1993-96 and has also served as Member, National Assembly
