Mr Karam Dad Wahla son of Mr Abdur Rehman Wahla was born on March 24, 1968 in Lahore. He got his early education from Burn Hall College, Abbottabad and Aitchison College, Lahore. He graduated in 1989 from Forman Christian College, Lahore. An agriculturist, who served as Tehsil Nazim, Jahania for two consecutive terms during 2001-07 and has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in bye-election held on June 26, 2008 against the seat vacated by Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, who had won both National and Provincial seats and had opted for NA seat. He has extensively travelled abroad including Hong Kong, Sir Lanka, Singapore, Thailand, Saudi Arabia and Dubai. His father served as Member, National Assembly during 1977-88; his brother, Mr Fazal Dad Wahla served as Member, National Assembly during 1989, and his uncle, Mr Zafar Ullah Wahla remained Member, National Assembly during 1972-77.
