Rai Muhammad Aslam Khan son of Haji Shahadat Khan was born on July 1, 1964 at Village Mehrpur, Syedwala. He graduate in 1984 from Government Degree College, Nankana Sahib. An agriculturist, who served as Member, District Council Sheikhpura during 1987 and 1992; as Chairman, Tehsil Zakat and Ushr Committee, Nankana Sahib during 1988, and as Vice Chairman, District Bait-ul-Mal Committee, Sheikhupura during 1992. He has been elected as Member Provincial Assmebly of the Punjab in general elections 2008 and is functioning as Chairman, Standing Committee on Population Welfare. His uncle, Rai Arif Hussain Kharal served as Member, Provincial Assembly of West Pakistan during 1965-69 and as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1977; and also remained Member, National Assembly for two terms during 1985-88 and 1993-96; his cousin, Rai Salahuddin remained Member, National Assembly during 1985-88 and 1997-99; another cousin of him, Rai Umer Hayat Khan served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1972-77.
