He was elected as Member of District Council Sialkot and served as Nazim, Union Council during 2005 and became Chairman of District Health Committee, Sialkot. served as He has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in general elections 2008. He has served as Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Culture from 09-June-2008 to 01-March-2011.
