Chaudhry Abdullah Yousaf Warraich son of Chaudhry Muhammad Yousaf Warraich was born on December 18, 1943 at Sargodha. He got his early education from Cadet College, Hassan Abdal. He graduated from Government College, Lahore in 1964; and obtained the degree of LL.B. in 1966 from Punjab University Law College, Lahore. A practicing lawyer, who served as Secretary, Sargodha Bar in 1971 and as its President during 1994 and again in 1995. He served as Member, District Council Gujrat during 1981-83, and as Chairman, Market Committee, Jalalpur Jattan during 1981-84. He also functioned as Additional Advocate General, Punjab during 1995-96 and as Public Prosecutor, Anti-Terrorism Courts in Punjab during 2000-02. He remained Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07, and served as Parliamentary Secretary for Law during 2003-07. He has returned to Punjab Assembly for the second consecutive term in general elections 2008. His brother-in-law, Ch Riaz Ahmed Warriach was elected Member of Punjab Assembly during 1977. Another brother-in-law, Ch Liaquat Hayat Badrana, was a Member of National Assembly during 1993-96. His nephew Ch Fayyaz Ahmed Warraich is presently Member Punjab Assembly.
