Mrs Shazia Ashfaq Mattu wife of Mr Ashfaq Ahmad Mattu was born at Gujranwala. She obtained the degree of MA (Urdu) from University of the Punjab, Lahore. She has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in general elections 2008. She is serving as Chairperson, Education Steering Committee, Gujranwala and as Vice Chairperson, Chief Minister Task Force for Women Development, Punjab. She has visited Qatar and Dubai. Her father, Pir Ghulam Fareed remained Member of Punjab Assembly during 1985-88.
