Mehr Sultan Sikender Bharwana son of Haji Mehr Wallidad Khan Bharwana was born on March 11, 1973 at Jhang. He obtained the degree of BBA (Hon) from Preston University, Lahore in 2006. An agriculturist, who served as Member District Council, Jhang during 1998-99 and as Naib Tehsil Nazim, Jhang during 2004-05. He has travelled to Iran, India, Malaysia, Singapore and Saudi Arabia. He has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in general elections 2008 and is serving as Chairman, Standing Committee on Religious Affairs and Auqaf. His brother, Mehr Muhammad Aslam Khan Bharwana was Member of Punjab Assembly during 1988-90, 1990-93 and 1997-99.
