Rai Muhammad Shahjahan Khan son of Rai Riaz Khan was born on April 5, 1971 at Tehsil Jaranwala, District Faisalabad. He obtained the degree of B.Com. in 1993 from Government Commerce College, Faisalabad. He has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in general elections 2008. He belongs to a renowned political family. His grandfather, Rai Shahadat Khan served as Member, Punjab Legislative Assembly during 1946-47 and 1947-49 and as Member, National Assembly during 1972-77; and his uncle, Rai Muhammad Aslam Khan Kharl served as Member of Punjab Assembly during 1977 and as Member, National Assembly during 1988-90 and 1990-93; another uncle of him, Rai Jaffar Khan remained Member of Punjab Assembly during 1985-88.
