No.PAP/Legis-1(22)/2018/2129. In exercise of all the powers enabling him in this behalf and pursuant to the mandate granted by the Assembly during its sittings held on 19 September 2019 and 11 October 2019, Mr Parvez Elahi, Speaker, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab has been pleased to constitute Special Committee No.8 in terms of rule 187 of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997, comprising the following:

2. The Special Committee shall consider the issues raised in the Privilege Motion No.19 moved by Mr Ghazanfar Abbas, MPA (PP-91) regarding inclusion of budget of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in Annual Budget 2019-20 by the Finance Department after deduction notwithstanding its approval by the Finance Committee of the Assembly and in Adjournment Motion No.667/19 moved by Ms Seemabia Tahir, MPA (W-320) regarding the posting of PAS/DMG officers in the province of Punjab. The Committee may consider any other matter referred to it.
3. The Committee may co-opt any other hon’ble Member of Provincial Assembly of the Punjab.
4. The Committee shall submit its report within a period of two months.
