SPECIAL COMMITTEE NO. 15
No.PAP/Legis-1(22)/2018/29. In exercise of all the powers enabling him in this behalf and pursuant to the mandate granted by the House during the sitting of the Assembly held on August 24, 2022, Mr Speaker has been pleased to constitute Special Committee No.15 in terms of rule 187 of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab 1997, comprising of the following, to consider the matter raised by Ms Mehwish Sultana, MPA (W-332):
1. Mr Yasir Humayun, Minister for Higher Education Convenor
2. Mr Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Member
Cooperatives and Environment Protection
3. Mian Muhammad Aslam Iqbal, Minister for Housing Urban Member
Development & Public Health Engineering, Industries,
Commerce, Investment & Skills Development
4. Syed Abbas Ali Shah, Minister for Forestry, Wildlife & Fisheries Member
5. Mr Muhammad Latif Nazar, Minister for Mines & Minerals Member
6. Mr Ammar Yasir, MPA (PP-24) Member
7. Ms Mehwish Sultana, MPA (W-332) Member/Mover
2. The Special Committee may co-opt any other Member of Provincial Assembly of the Punjab whom it may deem necessary for discharge of its functions.
3. The Special Committee shall submit its report to the Speaker within a period of two months.
4. The Research Officer (Legal Drafting), Provincial Assembly of the Punjab shall assist the Special Committee.
