Information Technology and E-Governance Print

The integration of information technology and e-governance tools is essential for modernizing parliamentary processes. In the Provincial Assembly of Punjab, there is a need to enhance transparency, efficiency, and public engagement through the adoption of advanced IT solutions and e-governance tools. Currently, many parliamentary processes are still paper-based and lack digital accessibility.

To address this, we propose integrating advanced IT solutions and e-governance tools into parliamentary processes. This includes:

1. Developing and maintaining digital platforms

2. Online portals: HRMS, and mobile applications to facilitate public access to legislative information and engage citizens in participatory governance.

3. Implement e-governance tools to streamline parliamentary processes, reduce paperwork, and improve overall efficiency.

The adoption of IT solutions and e-governance tools will result in more transparent, efficient, and accessible parliamentary processes. Digital platforms and online portals will provide citizens with easy access to legislative information and opportunities for engagement. E-governance tools will streamline internal processes, reducing paperwork and enhancing overall efficiency. These measures will lead to greater public trust and participation in the legislative process.
