Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Speaker, assumed the Chair and proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and its Urdu translation followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool ﷺ.
Question Hour
Questions relating to Archeology and Auqaf & Religious Affairs Departments were asked and Mr. Muhammad Asif Malik, Minister for Archeology and Mr. Muhmmad Saqlain Anwar Sipra, Parliamentary Secretary for Auqaf & Religious Affairs answered the questions.
Privilege Motion
The Privilege Motion moved by Mr. Khurram Shehzad blamed the defeated candidate of PML-N Khawaja Muhammad Islam Ex-MPA (PP-72) Faisalabad for impersonating himself as MPA by using forged letter pad to get the development schemes of the said constituency approved from the office of Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad, was kept pending.
Extension in Time Limit for Laying the Report
On a Motion moved by Mr. Jafar Ali Hocha, the House granted two months extension to the Standing Committee on Colonies for laying its reports in respect of the following:
1. Starred Question Nos. 4,2477,3254,6950,6960,7991,7995; and
2. Un-Starred Question Nos.407,596,718 and 1245.
Adjournment Motion
The Adjournment Motion moved by Al-Haaj Muhammad Ilyas Chinioti demanding to convert Chiniot-Faisalabad Road into two way/double road, was kept pending.
At this stage, quorum was pointed out and the Chair read out the Prorogation Order of the Governor of the Punjab and the House was prorogued.
