Motion moved by Mr Aftab Ahmad Khan that patients are facing difficulties to get operated in Faisalabad Allied Hospital, where 21 out of 28 machines are out of order, hence, 35 operation theaters are not operational. Only 20 % patients were able to get treatment, while 80 % were referred to other cities for the treatment.

Extension of Ordinances

On a motion moved by Mr. Khalil Tahir, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, the House granted leave to move resolutions under Article 128(2) (a) of the Constitution for extension in the period of validity of the following Ordinances for a further period of ninety days from the date of their expiry:

1.        The Punjab Civil Servants (Amendment) Ordinance 2023 (I of 2024).

2.        The Police Order (Amendment) Ordinance 2023 (II of 2024).

3.        The Punjab Agricultural Marketing Regulatory Authority (Amendment) Ordinance 2023 (III of 2024).

The Minister for Parliamentary Affairs moved the Resolutions thereafter which were adopted by the House.

General Discussion on i) Law & Order; ii) Price Control; and iii) Current Political Situation were on the agenda. The discussion was initiated by Mr Khalil Tahir, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs.
