(i)   EXTENSION OF ORDINANCES

(a)  MOTION UNDER RULE 127 OF THE RULES OF PROCEDURE OF PROVINCIAL ASSEMBLY OF THE PUNJAB 1997

            A MINISTER to move that leave be granted to move Resolutions under Article 128(2)(a) of the Constitution for extension of the following Ordinances:

1     The Punjab Civil Servants (Amendment) Ordinance 2023 (I of 2024).

2     The Police Order (Amendment) Ordinance 2023 (II of 2024).

3     The Punjab Agricultural Marketing Regulatory Authority (Amendment) Ordinance 2023 (III of 2024).

(b)  RESOLUTION UNDER ARTICLE 128(2)(a) OF THE CONSTITUTION

1.         RESOLUTION FOR EXTENSION OF THE PUNJAB CIVIL SERVANTS (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 2023 (I OF 2024)

            A MINISTER to move that the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab extends the period of validity of the Punjab Civil Servants (Amendment) Ordinance 2023 (I of 2024), promulgated on 8^th January 2024, for a further period of ninety days with effect from 7^th April 2024.

2.         RESOLUTION FOR EXTENSION OF THE POLICE ORDER (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 2023 (II OF 2024)

            A MINISTER to move that the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab extends the period of validity of the Police Order (Amendment) Ordinance 2023 (II of 2024), promulgated on 11^th January 2024, for a further period of ninety days with effect from 10^th April 2024. 

3.         RESOLUTION FOR EXTENSION OF THE PUNJAB AGRICULTURAL MARKETING REGULATORY AUTHORITY (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 2023 (III OF 2024)

            A MINISTER to move that the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab extends the period of validity of the Punjab Agricultural Marketing Regulatory Authority (Amendment) Ordinance 2023 (III of 2024), promulgated on 24^th January 2024, for a further period of ninety days with effect from 23^rd April 2024.
